Master Becker is one of the most recognized Martial Artists of breaking in the world today. Traveling regularly both nationally and internationally and working with martial artists of all ages and abilities, he has been featured worldwide for his breaking ability and holds the record as the fastest breaker in the world. Breaking 487 boards in one minute with one hand, he understands the importance of developing oneself to their fullest potential.

Master Becker began his martial arts training in the late 1980’s within the Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation, later continuing within the World Tang Soo Do Association under Master Warren Adams. In 1996, he received his Black Belt in Tang Soo Do under the guidance of Master John St. James in Atlanta, GA.  In 1998 he founded Southbury Karate Academy in Southbury, Connecticut and in 2005 joined the Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Association.

In 2003, Master Becker began his journey for a World Record title. Over the next four years he continued to develop himself as a professional athlete to develop the skills and mindsets to create success on some of the largest platforms in the country.

On July 30, 2005, Master Becker successfully reached World Record status by breaking 487 boards in one minute with one hand at Black Belt Magazine's Festival of the Martial Arts at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California. He has also been featured several times in Black Belt Magazine and on their website videos. His latest article is in the magazine's May 2010 issue. Schick Quattro was Master Becker's official sponsor from 2003 - 2005 as he traveled the country competing and participating in exhibitions.

Master Becker once again entered the world record books in December, 2008 in New Haven, CT, for breaking 140 boards in 10 seconds. The event was sanctioned by the International Sport Karate Association (ISKA). 

Since achieving multiple World Records, Master Becker has traveled the world sharing his passion for the martial arts as well as Peak Performance Training. Amateurs and professionals alike have had the opportunity to work with Master Becker and learn the important mindset skills it takes to become a champion.

Registered as a professional speaker under the National Speakers Association, Master Becker continues to speak at colleges, universities, businesses and corporations in the area of Peak Performance Training. Having received his forth degree masters rank from the Atlantic Pacific Tang Soo Do Association, Master Becker remains very active in the art of Tang Soo Do.
