Master Nancy Robinson is owner and Chief Instructor at Martial Arts Connecticut.  She began her Tang Soo Do studies in 1983 and received her 1st Dan in 1989 from Grandmaster Robert Cheezic.

Master Robinson enjoys martial arts competition and has been a tournament competitor since 1983, in sparring, forms and weapons divisions, earning trophies in almost every rank she has held. In 2010, she was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the martial arts.

Master Robinson is an active instructor and proud member of the Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation. She has traveled with the Federation on cultural and martial arts trips to Holland, Poland, Sicily and China, where she performed for the Shaolin Temple monks.

In 2009 she achieved the rank of 4th Dan and currently teaches in three Connecticut locations, emphasizing physical and mental development through traditional Tang Soo Do training for her students.  Master Robinson is an advocate of family martial arts training and encourages participation by children, teens and adults ages 5-75. Both her husband and her son are active black belts in Tang Soo Do.

A published writer, Master Robinson addresses contemporary issues of the day.  She also promotes the positive benefits of martial arts training as an online columnist and print author. She is the National Martial Arts Examiner for Examiner.com.
