Master Nancy Robinson is
owner and Chief Instructor at Martial Arts
Connecticut. She began her Tang Soo Do studies
in 1983 and received her 1st Dan in 1989 from
Grandmaster Robert Cheezic.
Master Robinson enjoys
martial arts competition and has been a
tournament competitor since 1983, in sparring,
forms and weapons divisions, earning trophies in
almost every rank she has held. In 2010, she was
inducted into the
Action Martial Arts
Magazine Hall of Fame
in
recognition of her outstanding contributions to
the martial arts.
Master Robinson is an active instructor and
proud member of the Cheezic Tang Soo Do
Federation. She has traveled with the
Federation on cultural and martial arts trips
to Holland, Poland, Sicily and China, where she
performed for the Shaolin Temple monks.
In
2009 she achieved the rank of 4th Dan
and currently teaches in three Connecticut
locations, emphasizing physical and mental
development through traditional Tang Soo Do
training for her students. Master Robinson is
an advocate of family martial arts training
and encourages participation by children, teens
and adults ages 5-75. Both her husband and her
son are active black belts in Tang Soo Do.
