Master
Nicholas Margerum started his training at the age of
3 in
Poughkeepsie, New York under Master Peter Antonelli
(Pin # 31513). Throughout Master Margerum's career he has been a successful
competitor in both Tang Soo Do and international
open tournaments.
In
2001 Master Margerum was tested and promoted to the
rank of 1st Dan under Master Antonelli and
Grandmaster Charles Ferraro of the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan
Association.
In
2008 he was awarded the rank of Kyo Sa
and took the role of Chief Instructor at Hudson
Valley Karate. He reached the rank of 4th
Dan in 2010. In 2010 he
accompanied Master Antonelli and other American Tang
Soo Do practitioners to Korea to reconnect with our
traditional Tang Soo Do roots.
Master Margerum
enjoys competition and likes to experience training
sessions with other instructors and practitioners.
Master Margerum states that "the more you give to
others in life the more positive things that will
always come back to you".
Ever since he
was a green belt he planned and still currently
plans, to expand Hudson Valley Karate with Master
Antonelli and some day own his own school.
