Ricardo A. Longinotti was thirteen when he began his
Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan training in Buenos Aires,
Argentina. His teachers were all students of the
late founder of Tang Soo Do, Grandmaster Hwang Kee.
Master Longinotti (Dan # 22616) received his 1st Dan in 1982 from Master Gustavo Poletti, and his 2nd and 3rd Dan from
Master Francisco B. Blotta. His 4th and 5th Dans
were awarded by Grandmaster Hyun Chul Hwang, current
president of the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan
Federation and son of the founder of Tang Soo Do Moo
Duk Kwan.
Since 1984 he has been teaching in different dojangs
in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2002 he resigned his
position in the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan
Federation and continued training on his own,
followed by his students.
In 2004 he joined the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan
Association under Grandmaster Charles Ferraro's
guidance and was designated National Director of
Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan for Argentina. In 2006 he
was awarded his 6th Dan (Ko Dan Ja # 65) by
Grandmaster Ferraro.
In January 2010 he was appointed as Coordinator of
Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan for South America by
Grandmaster Charles Ferraro. In this way, he is
working along with all the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan
Masters and Dan members of Chile and Argentina on
further developing Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan in South
America.
Master Longinotti has also created
instructional guides for his Tang Soo Do
students and has contributed a number of them to
