Grandmaster James Saffold Awarded 9th Dan

On Saturday, March 13, 2010, The League of Grand Masters confirmed and awarded the rank of 9th Degree Black Belt to Grandmaster James Saffold, founder of the American Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation. Grandmaster Saffold was a direct student of the late Grandmaster Jae Joon Kim.

On March 20, 2010 Grandmaster Saffold had the honor and privilege to promote to Grand Master, 8th Dan, a long time friend and fellow Martial Artist, Walter Rodd. Senior Master Rodd was also a student of the late Grand Master Jae Joon Kim, obtaining 7th Dan from him on March 1, 2003.

The following were also awarded new Dan ranks by the American Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation.

Mr. Richard Sajtos - 4th Dan Master
