   ►  3/11/08 - Recent promotions - American Tang Soo Do Association - The following received promotions from
                      Grandmaster Richard Byrne at the ATA's 35th Anniversary Championship, March 8th. Master Ken Herbert - 7th
                      Dan and Master Marco Discipio - 6th Dan. In addition, three individuals were promoted to 4th Dan Master rank:
                      Master Donna Roberts, Master Mark Fortune and Master Jim Arno.

   ►  3/6/08 - Recent promotions - Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association - Masters Richard Kopf, Howard Dugan and
                    Joseph Devita were recently awarded the rank of 7th Dan. All are members of the Technical Advisory Committee
                    (TAC) of the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association. The 5 day, 16-18 hours a day test was validated by
                    Grandmasters Charles Ferraro, Andy Ah Po and Richard Byrne, as well as Master Robert Beaudoin, Soke John
                    Larley and Kyo Shi Cunningham.

   ►  3/5/08 - Recent promotion - February 23, 2008 - Master Dennis McHenry of McHenry's Tang Soo Do in Houston, Texas was
                           promoted to 7th Dan by Grandmaster James Saffold, founder and president of American Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation.
                           Master McHenry began his martial arts training in 1976 and is currently the National Tang Soo Do Director for the United
                           States Korean Martial Arts Federation. Grandmaster Saffold and Master McHenry were both students of the late
                           Grandmaster Jae Joon Kim.
