Kwan Jang Nim
Kang Uk Lee (10th Dan, pin #70) lead his annual
traditional Moo Duk Kwan -Tang Soo Do seminar in the
Detroit area on the 14th of May 2011. He was joined
by the Secretary General of his International Tang
Soo (Soo Bahk) Do Federation Moo Duk Kwan, Master
Peter Vui Min Chin (8th Dan) and his son Master

Richard Collins Jr.'s PKSA facility in Trenton,

The three of
them led 1st Gups through 2nd Dans in the morning
session, covering hyungs like Bassai, Nai Ahn Chi 1
as well as Chil Sung 4. In the afternoon session,
they took the 3rd Dans and up through the
one-hundred-twenty-five-some-odd movements of Chil
Sung 6. That was a handful! They also put on a
demonstration of some of the other hyungs that will
be convered in the future.
The final tid
bit of information that was passed along was that
the International Championships for their Federation
will be held in October of 2012 in Dearborn (a
suburb of Detroit), Michigan! These Championships
occur once every two years. The previous
Championships were held in Adelaide, Australia in
October/November 2009. Prior to that they've been
held in Malaysia, Greece, the U.K., among other
places. This area is honored to be chosen as the
site of next year's Championships...
