A Visit by Grand
Master Kim, Song Ki

Wednesday June 29th
2011, the Karate Center was honored by a visit by
Kwan Jang Nim Song Ki Kim (#312), one of the most
senior Grand Masters of Tang Soo Do. Kwan Jang Nim
David Sgro accompanied Kwan Jang Nim Kim, adding to
the evenings’ success and excitement. His visit was
a great honor for our Dojang and a great experience
for all of our Instructors, students and their
parents.
Kwan Jang Nim Kim
watched our Dan and Gup members demonstrate their
Tang Soo Do skills including; Hyung, Ill Soo Sik, Ho
Sin Sul, Bong Sul, Dan Gum and Jang Gum. Although a
little nervous, they all demonstrated with
confidence and great enthusiasm. Grand Master Kim
watched with intensity. His smile and good humor as
he watched the younger students showed his friendly
personality.
We are looking
forward to future visits and training opportunities
with Kwan Jang Nims Kim and Sgro through the US
Goodwill Tang Soo Do Association and the World Dang
Soo Do Union. Tang Soo!
