Grandmaster Nam Kim, 8th Dan is eldest son of the late Grandmaster Jae Joon Kim (# 38) and current president of the World Traditional Tang Soo Do Federation, (formerly the World Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation) an organization founded by his father.

He was born in Seoul, South Korea and has over 42 years martial arts experience, with 35 years as an instructor. He came to the U.S. as a 2nd Dan in 1971 and settled in Detroit, MI. In 1976, he was the sparring champion in the state. He later relocated to Florida where he operates the Kim's Karate Tang Soo Do Academy.

Grandmaster Kim continues to teach and travel all over the world conducting seminars in Korean Traditional Martial Arts.
